Thumper never gave up on Bambi or their friendship in the same way that as caregivers, we never give up on our loved ones.

And, like Thumper, we often found ourselves saying, “Gee whiz, what happened that time?” I always loved this scene in the film, but now I see it in a new light. There were also the times that we both ended up on the ground, fortunately unharmed. There were times that I managed to keep him from falling and got him safely onto the bed or a chair. We each had to trust each other and there were times we were nervous and other times it was fun. It reminded me of the way I had to work with Ben to help him up and figure out the best way to get around. I especially love this clip, in which Thumper assesses the situation on the ice and tries to position Bambi’s legs, advising Bambi to “walk both ends at the same time.” It doesn’t go so well and they both end up skidding and falling. They anticipate where he is going to struggle and they gather around to help him so they can play together. Thumper and his siblings (also incredibly adorable little bunnies) play with Bambi but also watch out for him. He was quite devoted to his new friend, the young prince Bambi. He was the one to point out that Bambi was “kinda wobbly, isn’t he?” and “he doesn’t walk very good, does he?” This is not exactly the positive reinforcement someone wants when struggling and self-conscious! And while his mother had to remind him that “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothin’ at all,” Thumper was a child making an observation, albeit tactlessly, but his heart was in the right place. Thumper was the very adorable and lovable young forest gossip, and he certainly didn’t always say the right thing. I recently watched “Bambi” again, and was touched by Thumper’s relationship with Bambi in a whole new way. I’ve always loved Bambi, and have written about the song Love is a Song that Never Ends and how it resonated with me in caregiving and in grief. The tab can not be found on the Facebook app for phone or tablet.Easter seems a perfect time to honor my favorite bunny, Thumper, from Walt Disney Pictures Bambi. This tab can only be found on a laptop or computer version of Facebook. Information on the contest can be found on the giveaways tabs on the Facebook Group. Entries close at midnight on September 16. The Dad For Disney Facebook Group is continuing to hold its first giveaway. What are some of your reasons for loving the energenic little bunny? These are just some of the reasons why I love Thumper.

My daughter and I were lucky enough to meet them before they disappeared from the parks. With the closure of Camp Minnie-Mickey, Thumper and Miss Bunny can no longer be seen regularly at Walt Disney World. Thumper continues his lineage through his marriage to Miss Bunny. There is no lineage between Thumper and The White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. In fact, Thumper is Roger Rabbit’s uncle and made a brief appearance in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Thumper’s large family includes Roger Rabbit. We know that rabbits like to multiply which, of course, leads to a lot of rabbits and large families. Thumper is able to teach Bambi a couple of words, “bird” and “flower.” We all know that Bambi used flower as the word for skunk.
THUMPER BAMBI FEELING HOW TO
When he first meets Bambi while Bambi is exploring the world, Thumper takes it about himself to teach Bambi how to speak. There is no hiding about how he is feeling. You can easily tell his emotional state from his face. Thumper is a great source of energy and wonder.

It also teaches children to hold their tongue and be polite. Saying things that aren’t nice only leads to confrontation and that leads to unpleasant things like fights or even worse wars. It’s a great rule to live by for everyone. “If can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all.” I want to spend a some time discussing why I like Thumper, who in my opinion, is one of Disney’s best supporting characters.ġ) Even at a young age, he had his own law – “Thumper’s Law” My daughter had a copy of all of these books. These books were I Love You, My Bunnies, Thumper Counts to Ten, and Goodnight Thumper.
THUMPER BAMBI FEELING SERIES
Thumper, in the 21st century, became the centerpiece of a series of books under the Disney Bunnies. After Disney cast young voice-actor Peter Behn, who was only four years old, Thumper took on a prominent role in the movie. Originally, Thumper was to only have a minor role in Bambi. This adorable little rabbit made his debut in Bambi as a little ball of excitement, wonder, and, at times, mischief. Thumper is one of my favorite Disney characters.
